BETA International has opened applications for its second Hosted Buyer Programme, scheduled to take place during the trade show on 27-28 September at the NEC. The initiative returns to the event following the success of its inaugural launch last year.
The programme supports international retail buyers with multiple bricks-and-mortar stores and/or a large online presence. Accepted retailers must commit to a minimum of 10 scheduled meetings with exhibitors across their two-day visit. For those that qualify, financial support will be provided to offset transport and accommodation costs. Selected buyers also gain access to a dedicated meeting booking system and more.
“The programme allows the event to welcome multi-site retailers who are focused on establishing supplier relationships and sourcing products,” said Liz Ormesher, Event Director for BETA International. “The transport networks at the NEC made it easy for more overseas retailers to attend the show last year, and we’re keen to expand this international presence for 2026.”
To qualify for the Hosted Buyer Programme, applicants must operate at least three physical retail locations or maintain a significant e-commerce presence. During the two-day event, participants must schedule a minimum of five meetings per day with exhibiting brands, demonstrate a clear intent to source new product lines, and attend the full show.
The organisers are inviting international retailers to submit applications directly. Exhibitors are also encouraged to refer overseas clients who meet the entry requirements. This is a limited opportunity with a maximum capacity of 20-25 spaces, making early submission recommended.
